TOVI SCHOOL
A phone-free school day without another job for teachers.
Students lock their phone in their own TOVI pouch in the morning, carry it through the day, and unlock it themselves at a TOVI Station when the day ends. The school never collects, stores or unlocks a phone.

When the school collects phones, the work moves to the school.
More and more schools want a phone-free school day. But when phones are collected, the school inherits a second job: gathering, storing and handing back hundreds of private devices, every single day.
One pouch per pupil. Stations where the day ends.
TOVI School is more than just a phone pouch. It's a complete solution for the phone-free school day: a pouch the pupil locks and keeps with them, and wall-mounted TOVI Stations that open it.

The TOVI pouch
One per pupil. Soft, flexible neoprene, a reinforced opening and a steel pin that locks it shut.

The locking mechanism
Mechanical, not digital. The pin closes by hand and opens only at a station.

TOVI Stations
Wall-mounted unlocking points, placed where the school day naturally ends.

Classroom backup unlockers
Every classroom gets its own magnetic backup unlocker for genuine exceptions. It is not part of the daily routine.
How the day works
- 01
Phone in
The pupil places the phone in their own TOVI and closes it.
- 02
Keep it with you
The pupil keeps responsibility for their own phone throughout the day.
- 03
Open on the way out
The pupil unlocks their TOVI at an installed station when leaving school.
Two ways to run a phone-free school.
Centralised unlocking
- Staff unlock the pouches with handheld openers.
- When many pupils leave at the same time, unlocking becomes a staff-managed task.
- Pupils depend on the opener and the process around it.
- Unlocking belongs to staff — every day.
TOVI
- Pupils lock their own phones.
- Pupils carry them with them all day.
- Pupils unlock them themselves at fixed TOVI Stations.
- Staff are not part of the daily unlocking flow.
TOVI removes unnecessary work from teachers — without removing responsibility from pupils.

Access and exceptions
Exceptions are planned with each school — stations can also be placed by the office or other agreed points.
Part of implementation
Station placement is agreed during installation, so the system fits the building and the timetable.
No accounts, no tracking
The system contains no app, no account and no student data of any kind.
Pupils keep their phones
The phone stays in the pupil's possession for the whole day.
No signal blocking
TOVI doesn't block the phone's signal. It doesn't need to — what matters is that the phone isn't used when it shouldn't be.
The agreed way of working
TOVI makes it easy to follow the agreed routine. Deliberate rule-breaking is handled according to the school's own rules — the system doesn't need to be more complicated for that.
Could TOVI work at your school?
